The Proletariat, a prominent band of the Boston scene back in the early 80's made their mark early on by angering the uniformed crowds that they performed to along with many bands, with their off the wall approach to music (at the time). The music is simple and straight forward, leading most of the attention to the vocalist and the message he is trying so desperately to get across. Very similar to bands of the same day the Subhumans, Crass or Crucifix. A strong political adherence, but where the Subhumans would take off and pick up the tempo The Proletariat just keep leading you on in urge of the punch. The CD contains 45 tracks that document 3 years (see Editors Note) of The Proletariat's verbal assault on society at large
