Grand Theft Audio All For One One For All V/A CD (Benefit CD for Roger Miret)

From Liner Notes:

THE PROLETARIAT - This band's lefty politics and slightly dark choppy rhythms, influenced more by Mission Of Burma and Gang Of Four than Minor Threat, Black Flag, and Negative Approach, were sure to win over the hearts of this highly original quartet's detractors, amongst the Boston youth Crew (though the FU's sure liked them). They began in '80, soon recording their first demo, followed up a year or so later with their comp tracks on "This Is Boston Not L.A." and "Unsafe At Any Speed", both on Modern Method Records (both recently reissued on one CD by Wicked Disc), which also featured the likes of Gang Green, Jerry's Kids, F.U.'s, The Freeze , and others. Their debut LP, "Soma Holiday", with it's incredibly short lyrics, is released by Boston super producer - Lou Giordano's Radiobeat label, in '83, which is followed by their incredibly powerful and amazingly produced "Marketplace" 7" and "indifference" LP on Homestead (run by future Matador Records mogul Gerard Cosloy). Later that year they ceased to exist, though three of four members can currently be heard as CHURN.
This track was originally on their first LP.
